Tho Summer Solstice started on Friday 6/20 at 5:50 Mountain time, the first day of Summer is celebrated on June 21st. The first full day!!
Kristen and I decided to drive up to Estes Park and do some exploring in Rocky Mnt Nat Park. This would also be the first trip to the park without the pooches. Dogs are allowed in the park but only within 10 feet of the car, and on no trails. It does not allow much for getting of the beaten path when they are in tow. So we left them at home for a few hours and did some of the lower portions of the park starting in Horseshoe Park and over to Moraine park and on to Sprague Lake.
